INCHEON, South Korea – The Presidents Cup will return to Australia for the third time in 2019, PGA Tour officials announced on Saturday.
The event was played in Australia in 1998 at Royal Melbourne when the International team won its lone Presidents Cup, and again in 2011.
Although Royal Melbourne seems to be the likely choice for the ’19 matches, officials didn’t announce the Melbourne-area venue.
The 2017 matches will be played at Liberty National in New Jersey, and Quail Hollow in Charlotte, N.C., and San Francisco’s TPC Harding Park will host the event in ’21 and ’25, respectively.
