Last week’s mad dash from Orlando to Hong Kong hasn’t led Ian Poulter to reconsider his stance on the European Tour’s membership criteria.
After falling out of the top 50 in the world, Poulter was on the verge of losing his tour membership and being ineligible for the 2016 Ryder Cup when Rich Beem decided to forfeit his sponsor exemption into the Hong Kong Open.
Still, Poulter said it would be a mistake for the circuit to relax the rules for international players who play on both sides of the Atlantic.
