LANCASTER, Pa. – Veteran LPGA caddie Paul Fusco was caught by a USGA official taking photos of a worksheet with possible hole-location positions for this week’s U.S. Women’s Open on Tuesday morning at Lancaster Country Club. A USGA spokeswoman confirmed that Fusco, who caddies for Sei Young Kim, was asked to leave the property and will not caddie this week.
Kim, 22, a South Korean rookie, remains in the U.S. Women’s Open field. She has won twice this season: Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic and the LPGA Lotte Championship.
According to a USGA spokeswoman, Fusco had entered a USGA office and photographed internal course-setup documents that included hole locations.
