Philadelphia Cricket Club will play host to the 2016 Constellation Senior Players Championship, the Champions Tour announced Wednesday.
The Senior Players is one of five major championships on the 50-and-older tour.
Philadelphia Cricket Club's Wissahickon Course, a 1922 A.W. Tillinghast design, is No. 32 in the Golfweek's Best Classic Courses list. The course reopened in spring 2014 after architect Keith Foster's restoration.
The course, in Flourtown, Pa., also will play host to the 2020 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.
