Perry misses cut in final PGA Tour start

DUBLIN, Ohio – His career having now come full circle, Kenny Perry is ready to step away from the PGA Tour.

The 54-year-old earned his first PGA Tour win at the Memorial in 1991, and Friday he walked off the green for the final time in his 25th tournament appearance. Perry bogeyed No. 18 to card a 1-over 73, and at even par he missed the cut by one shot.

“I didn’t have any sad emotions. I just had a lot of good feeling emotions. And that tells me I’m ready to step away,” Perry said.
