Dottie Pepper, J.B. Holmes and Davis Love III will be honored by the Golf Writers Association of America at its annual awards dinner April 6 in Augusta, Ga.
Pepper will receive the GWAA's William D. Richardson Award, which honors an individual “who has consistently made an outstanding contribution to golf.”
With 17 LPGA victories, including two major championships, Pepper has carried her passion for golf into a career in broadcasting. Pepper, 50, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., was hired recently by CBS Sports as an on-course reporter and will be the first woman on CBS Sports’ Masters broadcast team.
