Paul Dunne will be making his way back to the United States, this time for his professional debut on the PGA Tour.
The 23-year-old has procured an invitation to the A&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, where he will compete from Feb. 11-14 in his first PGA Tour tournament since turning professional.
The former Alabama-Birmingham standout earned notice from the golf world when he opened with three sub-70 rounds and grabbed a share of the 54-hole lead while still an amateur (he finished T-30). Dunne would back it up with at the U.S. Amateur with a run to the quarterfinals (where he lost to eventual champion Bryson DeChambeau) before turning pro in September.
