Paul Casey's bunker game helps Englishman stay in contention at API

ORLANDO, Fla. –– Standing in the front bunker at the par-3 17th during the second round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Paul Casey could do nothing but smile.

This was third time this round his ball found the sand and plugged.

“Buried one on 9, buried one on 15,” Casey said.

Casey escaped the trio of buried lies with two pars and one disappointing bogey on his way to a 3 under 69 that currently has him T-4 7 under overall.

“I was frustrated I didn't get up and down on 9 even though I hit a wonderful shot,” Casey said.
