LONDON (AP) -- Patrick Reed says he has withdrawn from the PGA Championship at Wentworth and the Irish Open.
The 25-year-old American was due to play at the European Tour's flagship event at Wentworth for the first time on Thursday before competing in Ireland next week at a tournament hosted by Rory McIlroy. But he now says he ''will not be able to travel overseas at this time.''
Reed, who became a member of the European Tour at the start of the season, is now listed in the field for the Invitational at Colonial in the United States this week.
