NAPLES, Fla. – The big prizes within reach of Inbee Park this week go beyond the LPGA’s most important season-long awards.
With Park’s victory Sunday at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational, she moved within one point of qualifying for the LPGA Hall of Fame.
Park’s victory was worth one Hall of Fame point, moving her to 26 total points, one shy of the Hall of Fame requirement. She can reach that standard in one of three ways this week: Winning the CME Group Tour Championship is worth one point, winning the Rolex Player of the Year is worth one point and winning the Vare Trophy is worth one point.
