PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Brian Roberts called it team spirit and Ryan Palmer called it a nice gesture to have 25 hats made with the Comcast logo on it.
Playing in his 11th AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Palmer has teed it up with Roberts, the CEO of Comcast (the parent company of NBC and the Golf Channel), for the last four years at the event and thought it would be a nice idea to do something for Roberts.
So Palmer’s agent Mike Chisum contacted TaylorMade, Palmer’s equipment endorser, and got the OK to put the name of the equipment manufacturer on the side of his hat for this week and put the Comcast logo with the NBC peacock right up front.
