Brandt Packer spends most of his time producing Champions and PGA Tour events for Golf Channel, but he’s currently in the midst of producing the men’s and women’s NCAA Championships. Packer talked about the differences between producing the women’s and men’s championships, the unpredictable nature of match play, and Golf Channel’s desire to make the NCAAs the “premier amateur event” in U.S. golf.

Brandt Packer: Every day is different. That Monday (final day of stroke play) takes on a whole new dynamic versus Tuesday morning (first day of match play).
