LAKE FOREST, Ill. - After shooting a 3-under 68 in the third round of the BMW Championship, South African Louis Oosthuizen went right to the clubhouse at Conway Farms Golf Club and pulled out his phone.
It wasn’t to make a call, but to start the app that would provide the rugby follower with a replay of the Japan vs. South Africa match that took place in the opening Pool B match in the Rugby World Cup at Brighton Community Stadium in England.
Oosthuizen purchased a package that provides him with all the matches over the next six weeks, clearly with the believe that the Springboks would go far, but that may be a little more difficult now with a 34-32 loss to Japan, a country that has not won a match in world cup competition since 1991 (when Japan beat Zimbabwe).
