J.B. Holmes left the U.S. on Monday bound for Scotland and the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, a tuneup event for next week’s British Open at Royal Troon. However, as of Wednesday evening in Scotland, Holmes’ golf bag and clubs have yet to arrive at Castle Stuart Golf Links in Inverness.
If Holmes does not get his clubs before his 8:35 a.m. Thursday tee time, replacing them could be complicated because he plays clubs from four manufacturers.: TaylorMade, Tour Edge, Cleveland and Edel.
