While golf may be unfamiliar to the Olympics, the names of the golfers that will be headed to Rio in August are certainly not.
With golf returning to the Olympic Games this year for the first time in more than 100 years, top names like Jordan Spieth, Jason Day and Rory McIlroy are sitting atop the rankings. The fields, which will include 60 men and 60 women will be finalized in July, and will be based on the Official World Golf Ranking (Men) and Rolex Rankings (women).
A country can have up to four players in Rio under the condition that all of them are in the top-15.
