Odyssey’s newest putter family, the Odyssey White Hot RX, combines two of the company’s most popular technologies into one putter for golfers who prefer soft feel and want to get the ball rolling on the greens.
“We wanted to have a nice soft feel. Some of our inserts have gotten a little firmer, especially the Fusion RX, than where the White Hot was,” said Austie Rollinson, Odyssey’s principal designer. “A lot of people love a soft feel, and want a good roll.”
To make that happen, Rollinson and his team worked with Callaway’s golf ball team to find the perfect material to use to update the White Hot insert.
