Odyssey Toe Putters

Pull out a putter and balance it in the hand so the shaft is parallel to the ground. Chances are good the toe of the putter hangs down, towards the floor. With face-balanced putters that downward tilt is negligible, but for many putters it can be more than 45 degrees.

To help golfers improve consistency, Odyssey is set to release two models that take toe-hang and turn it on its head, the Toe Up putters.

“The whole idea behind the Toe Up Putters is to – in a smaller, blade-style putter – reduce torque that you are feeling in the hands,” said Austie Rollinson, Odyssey Golf’s principal designer.
