Number of golfers in Europe continues to slide, KPMG report finds

VIRGINIA WATER, England – European golf numbers are continuing to drop, according to a new report.

The number of registered golfers fell by 1.8 percent during 2014, a drop of 77,000 across the European continent. The numbers, published by KPMG in its latest survey, "Golf Participation in Europe 2015," will worry golf administrators across the region.
