No one new cracks top 60 in final U.S. Open cutoff

There were a couple of big moves in the Official World Golf Ranking, but none that mattered in relation to the U.S. Open.

No player outside the top 60 as last week began was able to crack the final Open cutoff. John Senden remained in the 60th position; though, he had previously qualified for the season’ second major.

Fabian Gomez won’t be at Chambers Bay, but that will give him plenty of time to enjoy his first PGA Tour win at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. The victory moved him to 131st in the world, from 288th.
