Nelly Korda has withdrawn from a Ladies European Tour event next week after sustaining an injury from a dog bite, per ESPN's Mark Schlabach.
The World No. 1 golfer was set to compete in an LET Aramco Team Series tournament next Wednesday through Friday at Centurion Club in Hemel Hempstead, England, but will now have to miss the event.
Korda released a statement on Instagram on Friday.
"I regret to announce that I must withdraw from next week's Ladies European Tour tournament in London," she said in the statement.
