A revised bid to bring the 2024 Olympics to the city of Los Angeles includes the possibility of Olympic golf at one of the PGA Tour's most historic courses.
An earlier bid by "L.A. 2024" included Wilson Golf Course in Griffith Park as the proposed golf venue, but according to an L.A. Times report the latest proposal would include golf at Riviera Country Club. Known as "Hogan's Alley," Riviera has hosted the PGA Tour event now called the Genesis Open annually since 1926 and has also been the site of three major championships, most recently the 1995 PGA Championship.
