Marco Dawson and Colin Montgomerie sat atop the leaderboard when play was called Saturday at the Senior British Open.
Dawson and Montgomerie, who are tied at 10 under par, made it through nine holes in their third round at Sunningdale Golf Club's Old Course in Berkshire, England, when darkness prevented further play. They hold a two-shot advantage over Fred Couples and Philip Walton, who reached 8 under on the back nine Saturday evening.
Montgomerie, a 52-year-old out of Scotland, got off the a hot start, making birdie on the first three holes en route to a 4-under 31 on the front nine.
