First-round leader Bryce Molder continued his torrid play on Friday, getting to 9 under through 15 holes of the suspended second round and holding a one-shot edge on clubhouse leeader Webb Simpson in the rain-plagued Dean & DeLuca Invitational. Jordan Spieth, who teed off in the morning wave and was thus able to finish, shot a 4-under 66 and is two shots back. Here's how things stand going into the weekend at Colonial CC in Fort Worth:
Leaderboard: Molder (-9 through 15 holes), Webb Simpson (-8), Spieth (-7), Patrick Reed (-7 through 8 holes), Anirban Lahiri (-6 through 12 holes), Jason Dufner (-6 through 10 holes)
What it means: Spieth has been in a mini-slump after missing the cut in The Players Championship and falling out of contention in the fourth round of the AT&T Byron Nelson.
