For a second consecutive day, Miranda Wang accumulated four birdies at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, Calif. Only this time, she was able to use them to push into the lead.
Wang posted a bogey-free second-round 68 to move to 6 under and one ahead of the field at the AJGA Yani Tseng Invitational.
“I think today was a good day. I was able to play a bogey-free round and make some birdies. It was kind of windy but I live here so I am used to it,” Wang said.
Indeed, the 17-year-old, originally from China, now resides in the same town as Ruby Hill.
