“Increased spin” and “lower spin” were at the heart of Phil Mickelson’s post-round interview after the left-hander shot 6-under 65 at Monterey Peninsula to roar up the leaderboard at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
But when finally that part of the puzzle was over, how was Mickelson “spinning” his day?
“A good day,” he emphatically declared after pushing to 10-under 133, just one off the lead.
