How can something be the best and at the same time the worst? Look no further than Rory McIlroy's Sunday at the WGC-HSBC Champions for the answer.
McIlroy carded seven birdies against just one bogey on Sunday in Shanghai for a final-round 66, catapulting him up the leaderboard and into a tie for 11th. The 66 was his best round of the week by two shots, but the T-11 finish is McIlroy's worst showing in five previous starts at the WGC-HSBC. Prior to Sunday, he'd never finished worse than sixth.
Coming off a tie for sixth place last week in Turkey, it was a turkey sandwich that got the better of McIlroy this week in Shanghai.
