With his playoff victory at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, Graeme McDowell jumped from 85th to 62nd in the Official World Golf Ranking.
He also secured invites to the Masters in April and PGA Championship in July and extended his PGA Tour membership through 2018. McDowell remains exempt at the U.S. Open thanks to his 2010 win at Pebble Beach.
The only major he isn’t currently qualified for is the Open Championship, which he’s played every year since 2004, although he has plenty of time to break into the world top 50, or qualify via a litany of other avenues.
