HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Graeme McDowell and Matt Every left Augusta National last week feeling disappointed.
“I find it hard to walk away with much positives there, even though I love it as much as I do,” said McDowell, who tied for 52nd at the Masters.
Said Every, who has now missed two Masters cuts in as many starts: “That place just isn’t for me.”
Thursday, however, was a much different story for the two PGA Tour pros, as they each shot 5-under 66 to grab a share of the first-round lead at the RBC Heritage.
