PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico – Another week, another Jason Bohn appearance on a PGA Tour leaderboard.
Bohn has been a mainstay near the lead early in the new wraparound season, and he continued that trend Friday with a bogey-free 63 at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, highlighted by a run of four straight birdies that he capped with a chip-in on No. 5. At 9 under, he trails leader Graeme McDowell by three shots heading into the weekend.
Bohn has had a pair of near-misses already this season, coming up one shot short at the Frys.
