NBC "Today" morning host Matt Lauer has figured out a way to make a very good gig even better: Conduct his summer interviews on the golf course.
Tuesday morning, Lauer’s interview with world No. 1 Jordan Spieth aired, a piece shot with Spieth clad in shorts and a golf shirt while at Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, N.J.
On Wednesday and Thursday, NBC will air footage of an interview Lauer conducted with Caitlyn Jenner, the transgender figure who formerly was Olympian Bruce Jenner. Among other topics, the two discuss Jenner’s membership at tony Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
