OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Martin Piller shot a 5-under 66 on Saturday to take a two-stroke lead in the Web.com Tour's Digital Ally Open.
Piller had a 20-under 193 total at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate. He had five straight birdies on Nos. 9-13 and also birdied the 16th.
"Every week out here guys make a run and play well and you just have to do it every day," Piller said. "Every day you have to play well and be as good as you can."
The 29-year-old Piller, married to LPGA Tour player Gerina Piller, won the Boise Open last month for his fourth tour title.
