STRAFFAN, Ireland (AP) -- Marc Warren shot a 6-under 66 Friday to join Danny Willett at the top of the leaderboard in the second round of the Irish Open.
The Scot had seven birdies at the K Club, including a chip shot on the par-3 eighth. Warren and Willett (71) are both at 136 overall with half the field yet to finish.
Willett, who won the Masters in April, had four bogeys in his round.
Rory McIlroy (70) is third, a shot behind the leaders. McIlroy, who sank birdie putts of 31 feet and 20 feet on the back nine, looks certain to make his first cut at the tournament in four years.
