A birdie-birdie finish meant a new leader Saturday at the Netbank Golf Challenge, as Marc Leishman's strong closing brought him straight to the top.
The Aussie fired a third-round 6-under 66 on Saturday at Gary Player Country Club and used that closing pair of birdies to climb to 14 under and one in front. Henrik Stenson, the shared or sole leader each of the first two days, appeared he would continue to hold his grip on the top spot until two late bogeys and Leishman's strong finish knocked him back to solo second.
"I saw Henrik was getting away a little bit so I had to try to do something to make it interesting for tomorrow," Leishman said.
