Paige Mackenzie, a popular Golf Channel studio analyst, will let her clubs do the talking for the first time in 18 months. The LPGA veteran returns to competition at this week’s Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving. Mackenzie, who has battled back issues for 11 years, underwent a microdiscectomy in February 2014 in which doctors harvested her bone marrow, pulled out stem cells and re-injected them into disks. It took more than a year after surgery for Mackenzie, 32, to feel physically ready to compete again on the LPGA.
