Lydia Ko surged into the 36-hole lead at the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship Friday with a 7-under 65.
Ko, who trailed Sung Hyun Park by seven shots after Round 1, went bogey-free Friday at Sky 72 Golf Club's Ocean Course in Incheon, South Korea, hitting 13 greens in regulation and taking 24 putts.
"When a player shoots 10 under, 7 under, 8 under, whatever, they had a great day and all you can do is play good golf yourself and just think about it, one shot at a time and see the closer you are to the leader — or if you're leading, the earlier, the better," said Ko.
