LPGA stars happy Women's PGA is at Westchester

HARRISON, N.Y. – There is grandeur to Westchester Country Club that makes it feel as if it ought to be home to major championships.

That’s the sentiment shared by a lot of the LPGA pros getting ready play the first KPMG Women’s PGA Championship this week.

“You can't hope to be on a better golf course than this,” said two-time major championship winner Cristie Kerr.

Westchester Country Club was home to PGA Tour events from 1963-65 and from 1967-2007. It was also home to the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship in 2011.
