NAPLES, Fla. – The annual Rolex Awards Celebration got off to a terrific start when all 12 members of the U.S. Solheim Cup team gathered on the stage to help present Juli Inkster with the William & Mousie Powell Award. The award, voted on by players, is given to a peer who best exemplifies the spirit, ideals and values of the LPGA.
Inkster became the first two-time recipient of the award. She called captaining the 2015 U.S. team to victory in Germany the greatest thrill of her career.
“They kept me on my toes,” said Inkster, “took my credit card.
