NAPLES, Fla. – The LPGA’s cup overflowed on the final day of the CME Group Tour Championship. A Sunday that began saturated with rain ended rich in storylines and unexpected sunshine. Lydia Ko and Inbee Park ended 2015 with what they wanted most. Ko, 18, took the Rolex Player of the Year honor and the million-dollar box of Benjamins for a second consecutive year. Park captured the Vare Trophy to secure the last point needed to qualify for the LPGA Hall of Fame.
And not to be outdone, Cristie Kerr, 20 years Ko’s senior, won the Tour Championship for her 18th career title.
