Shane Lowry shot a bogey-free 66 to come from behind and win the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational by two shots. Here's how things wrapped up at Firestone C.C. in Akron, Ohio.
What it means: This is Lowry's first WGC win, first PGA Tour win, and first win in the United States. The 28-year-old Irishman's last victory came at the Portugal Masters in 2012. Before Sunday, Lowry was perhaps best known for winning the Irish Open as an amateur in 2009. On Sunday, he birdied Nos. 1, 8, 10 and 18 en route to victory.
