ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – In his first press conference since leading the U.S. Ryder Cup team to victory in October at Hazeltine National, Davis Love III said thinking about the matches still makes him emotional.
He also shed some light on Tiger Woods’ role in the team room. Woods was one of Love’s vice captains and he said on Wednesday at the RSM Classic that the 14-time major winner’s input was crucial to the U.S. victory.
“He had a great system,” Love said. “It really helped us on Sunday.
