Despite a nearly six-hour rain delay, Erik Compton was able to birdie four of his six holes Saturday at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans to tie Jason Day for the lead at 13 under.
Play, however, was suspended because of darkness with the lead group of Day, Hudson Swafford and Daniel Berger through just three holes.
The third round will resume Sunday at 7:30 a.m. local time with the final round beginning later in the day. Players will not be re-paired.
