WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Lexi Thompson joined an elite list of golfers Tuesday at the PGA Merchandise Show’s Demo Day as the LPGA player was named an official ambassador for PGA Junior League Golf. Rory McIlroy, Michelle Wie and Rickie Fowler also serve as program ambassadors.
“Lexi's such a great addition to the team,” said Scott Kmiec, executive director of PGA Reach, the PGA of America’s charitable foundation. “We have a great opportunity to get kids excited about PGA Junior League Golf and playing with their friends in a fun format.”
PGA Junior League Golf is a team-based program for children 13 and younger to play together in a scramble format.
