RYE, N.Y. – Even Stacy Lewis has to marvel at the agelessness of a game that has 40-year-old Karrie Webb and Brooke Henderson, 17, snagging headlines. Lewis, 30, sits somewhere in the middle.
But mostly, Lewis loves the fact that the LPGA tour has delivered a marquee leaderboard with a rare weekend of network TV on tap at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
“You really couldn't ask for more,” she said.
Sei Young Kim, a rookie who has won twice already this season, eagled the par-5 15th Friday at Westchester Country Club and holds a one-stroke lead over Webb and Inbee Park at 8-under 138.
