GRANITEVILLE, S.C. — Gabriel Lench was pretty excited when he found out he'd be playing in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley.
"When I got the invitation in the mail, my eyes lit up," Lench said. "It's just a blessing being in this tournament. ... It's just unbelievable."
Lench had a similar reaction to his second round on Friday. The Liberty signee from Oviedo, Fla., made 10 birdies en route to shooting 7-under 65.
"Today, I told myself that I wanted to do something remarkable," Lench said.
Mission accomplished.
