Marc Leishman will return to competition this week at the Zurich Classic after a health scare nearly cost his wife, Audrey, her life.
Leishman was on-site at Augusta National two weeks ago when Audrey checked herself into an urgent care clinic on March 31 because her flu-like symptoms had worsened. She was diagnosed with a combination of acute respiratory distress and toxic shock syndrome, and was quickly placed into a medically-induced coma.
The Aussie opted to withdraw from the Masters to be by her side, and he watched as Audrey battled back despite facing some grave odds.
