PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- For the third straight year, Phil Mickelson is leaving the Players Championship early.
The 2007 winner at TPC Sawgrass, Mickelson shot a 4-over 76 on the Stadium course on Friday and will miss the 36-hole cut after a two-day score of 5-over 149.
