Langer wins Charles Schwab Cup, as Andrade takes season finale

Bernhard Langer lost in a playoff at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, but still won out in the end.

The 58-year-old captured the Charles Schwab Cup on Sunday after his solo second finish at the Tour's 2015 season finale jumped him from third to first on the points list. This is Langer's third timing winning the Schwab Cup and the second year in a row that he has accomplished the feat.

As for the tournament on hand at the Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., an opening 63 and four sub-70 rounds was not enough to put Langer in the winners' circle for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
