Kuchar, Spieth among those who share love for laid-back RBC Heritage

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. –– Matt Kuchar can’t recall how many times he’s seen the shot. He just knows it still gives him a thrill.

“It was a magical shot,” Kuchar said of his bunker hole-out for birdie on the 72nd hole of last year’s RBC Heritage that gave him a one-shot victory over Luke Donald.

“I kind of laugh at the emotion that came out of it. Normally, I don’t get that excited, pumped up on a golf course.”

The fist-pump Kuchar delivered after the shot seemed enough to dislocate a shoulder, his arm moving through the air with the force of a cannon.
