WOBURN, England – Lydia Ko rallied on the back nine Friday at the Ricoh Women’s British Open to keep her almost perfect record intact.
In 81 LPGA starts coming to Woburn Golf Club this week, Ko had missed just one cut.
With back-to-back birdies coming home in the second round, she will avoid missing a second.
Ko’s 2-under-par 70 moved her to even par overall, inside the cut line. She posted the score under some back-nine pressure being on the clock for slow play. Ko’s group also was on the clock on the back nine of Thursday’s round.
