NAPLES, Fla. – Inbee Park headed to the practice green after her round. If she’s going to overtake Lydia Ko for the year-end bounty, she’ll need to putt better.
Sounds a little absurd for anyone who watched Park’s magical touch last week in Mexico. But the greens here at the CME Group Tour Championship are Bermuda, and Park isn’t a fan.
“I only chipped once today,” said Park, who opened with a 1-under 71. “I hit a lot of greens and fairways, just couldn't putt. These Bermuda greens got me again.”
The Big 3 played alongside each other and made nine birdies between them.
